What we cover
- Carpentry and joinery: doors, hinges, locks, handles, wardrobes and cabinets
- Fixings and installation: shelves, mirrors, blinds, curtain rails, TV brackets
- Tiling and grouting: replacement tiles, regrouting, resealing wet areas
- Painting and touch-ups: patching, filling and finishing
- Silicone and sealant renewal around baths, basins and worktops
- Minor masonry and surface repairs
- Flat-pack assembly
- Snagging lists for new or newly let properties
How it works
Send us your list rather than a single item. The engineer arrives prepared for the whole visit, which keeps the cost down and means you deal with one attendance instead of several.
What we will not do
Anything requiring a qualified trade is passed to the right HomeCare+ engineer rather than improvised. Electrical circuits, gas, structural alterations and works affecting shared building services all fall outside handyman scope, and we will tell you when something does.
Pricing note
Quoted by visit length for list-based work, or per job for individual items. Any diagnostic or attendance charge is confirmed before dispatch.
What counts as a handyman job?
Carpentry and joinery, fixings such as shelves, mirrors and brackets, tiling and grouting, sealant renewal, painting and touch-ups, minor surface repairs, flat-pack assembly and snagging lists.
Can I give you a list rather than one job?
Yes, and it is the cheaper way to use the service. The engineer arrives prepared for the whole visit, so you pay for one attendance instead of several.
Is there anything you won't do?
Anything needing a qualified trade goes to the right HomeCare+ engineer instead of being improvised — electrical circuits, gas, structural alterations, and works affecting shared building services. We will tell you when a job falls outside handyman scope.
